Career Enhanced Focus: Graduate Students

At the Barney School of Business, we want to give you more than classroom knowledge. To enhance your educational experience we offer these opportunities:

Enrichment Workshops
The Barney School offers a series of enrichment workshops each semester to address special topics of interest that can be captured in a single seminar or workshop session. Past workshops have included Making Effective Presentation, Negotiation, Career Planning, and Job Search Strategies. These workshops are generally scheduled on Saturday mornings, except for the currently scheduled ones:

Executive Speaker Series
Once each semester, we invite a corporate executive to campus to speak to our graduate students. Class schedules are adjusted to allow graduate students to attend these events.

Mentor Program
The Barney School recognizes the value of mentoring and coaching. The mentorship program allows graduate students an opportunity to foster relationships with local business leaders based on their career interests.
