Jose Santos

Jose Santos received his undergraduate degree from Kean University. He has a Masters degree from NJIT and is currently finishing his dissertation in Organization Management at Rutgers University.
Jose's professional experience includes varying levels of management responsibility in a variety of consumer products industries. Most recently, Jose held an operations management position with a leading Consumer Electronics Manufacturer.
Jose joined the faculty at the Barney School of Management in the Fall of 2005. He brings with him over 10 years of management experience along with a teaching and research agenda focused on areas surrounding business policy & strategic management
Education: Bachelor Degree - Kean University, Masters Degree - New Jersey Institute of Technology, Ph.D. - Rutgers University (ABD)
Research Interests: Jose's research is focused on the sources of firm profitability from a strategic management perspective. In particular, Jose's research is focused on strategic alliances and the factors that lead to successful strategic initiatives. This includes issues surrounding firm capabilities, network effects and environmental characteristics.
